These Fosse Squirrels were an inspiration after watching some near our birdfeeder. They seemed so theatrical I became convinced they belonged on Broadway. Bob Fosse’s dance poses were the iconic images that I held in my head and I watch videos of his coreography to really capture the poses.

Each drawing was sketched several times before I rendered the finals with watercolor and ink.
